About EaRN
The Empowerment and Resilience Network
We Champion Resilience and Empowerment for All
We empower young people and other vulnerable populations by implementing innovative strategies that enhance climate resilience, promote equitable access to quality healthcare, and advocate for comprehensive social protection safety nets.
Who We Are
The Empowerment and Resilient Network (EaRN) was established in 2023 as a visionary initiative by a group of passionate Global Health Corps (GHC) fellows with diverse skill sets and a shared commitment to fostering positive change in society. EaRN aims to empower young people and other vulnerable populations by implementing innovative strategies that enhance resilience, promote equitable access to quality healthcare, and advocate for comprehensive social protection safety nets. We value inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainability. EaRN is dedicated to working towards a resilient and climate-responsive Zambia where everyone has access to essential services and opportunities for a better future.
What We Do
EaRN is dedicated to advancing climate change resilience, enhancing social protection programs, strengthening health systems, and providing comprehensive technical assistance. We leverage robust technological and digital solutions to improve information management for social protection initiatives and enhance community responses to climate change and mitigation efforts. We develop evidence-based solutions that enhance the delivery of health services at the grassroots level and offer comprehensive technical assistance, expert guidance and support for program and project evaluations, research, and grant proposal development, ensuring impactful outcomes. We are committed to fostering sustainable development.
Our Mission
To develop solutions with vulnerable groups in underserved communities focusing on four main areas: strengthening health systems, social protection, technical support, and resilience to climate change.
Our Vision
To see strengthened health and social protection systems that equitably address the needs of everyone including the vulnerable groups in resource-poor communities.
Our History
Established in 2023, EaRN emerged as a visionary initiative by a collective of dedicated Global Health Corps (GHC) fellows, each equipped with diverse skill sets and a shared commitment to fostering positive change in Zambia. The inception of EaRN took root during the 2022-2023 GHC fellowship, where six dedicated fellows converged to address the pressing challenges of health systems strengthening, climate change resilience, technical assistance for non-profit organisations, and social protection for vulnerable demographics.
Our journey commenced with a steadfast goal: to empower young people and broader communities, particularly vulnerable groups and underserved populations, through innovative strategies aimed at bolstering climate resilience, advancing equitable access to quality healthcare, and championing comprehensive social protection safety nets. At EaRN, we value inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainability, and we are dedicated to working towards a resilient and climate-responsive Zambia where everyone has access to essential services and opportunities for a better future. Join us in this transformative journey!
